How can we convince students to learn when they just want to play? NovaLearn has designed after-school programmes that allow them to do both, at the same time. 

We worked with certified IB teachers and industry specialists to create a learning experience that blends edutainment videos, quizzes, and hands-on learning. The interactive nature of our classes stimulates the natural curiosity of children and encourages them to take an active role in their own education, rather than passively receiving information from an instructor.

At NovaLearn, we understand the importance of raising well-rounded individuals. Our programmes teach children real-world technical skills, while also cultivating essential human qualities like creativity, empathy, and critical thinking. And we’ll ensure they enjoy every moment of it. 

A Blend of Offline and Online Learning

We blend screentime with in-person activity with our after-school programmes, workshops, and holiday programmes. Students will follow our courses, which are housed on our e-learning platform, while also receiving in-person guidance from teachers and participating in physical activities in class. 

Our New Digital Media After-School Programme

Here are some highlights from our new Digital Media after-school programme:

• Stop Motion Animation
• Collage as Composition: Digital Media
• Creative Photography
• Coding Video games and Fighting Space food
• Filmmaking

We are especially proud of our Filmmaking course, which aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) to address global issues through storytelling. Students get to make a short film of their own, letting their creativity run wild as they gain technical know-how from the best in the industry! 

Best of all? Their creative endeavours will have real-world impact. Their short film will be submitted to the Young Visionaries’ Film Festival by NovaLearn. Our lucky winners will receive mentorship by a Hollywood director and a tour of a film studio.

More Signature Programmes to Choose From

In addition to our Digital Media programme, we have other after-school programmes that cover different areas of learning:

• STEAM, which focuses on cultivating curiosity and design thinking in budding creatives

• English & STEAM, which offers STEAM courses, as well as English Language Learning (ELL) 

Educators can select one of our signature programmes, as well as customise the courses according to their school’s needs. They can adjust the length of the programme to fit their school calendar, as well as the courses that are included to align with the school’s focus. For instance, if your students need to develop their STEM skills, we can introduce more Science and Technology courses to your programme.
